Washroom view

At the time I had a roomy ensuite, I used it as my working place, developing my films after finish shooting. You can see from the mirror image that a note was there on the wall, that was my developing note at the time. The tripod leg was one of my Manfrottos, I still have them currently.

I used Neopan400 film, which is known for its fine grain and versatility, and developed it in Rodinal. Well, after all the time has past in between, when I look back, I find this image to be kind of interesting in reflecting certain connotations of elements within an image.

Detail development process:

  • Fuji Neopan400, 135 film, shot in asa@400

  • 5 min presoak with water

  • Rodinal 1+50

  • 10 sec agitation for the 1st 5 min & 1 inversion thereafter for each min

  • scan at 48 bits color, 3600dpi with Epson V700 Pro scanner

  • No post processing in computer
