Sunset Moment

      As the seasons change, the sunset and shifting light create scenes of remarkable beauty and unpredictability. The same location can produce countless variations of light and shadow, leaving lasting impressions that are hard to forget.

This is Fraser River Foreshore Park, tucked away on the edge of the city, yet offering everything a photographer could hope for: low-angle side lighting, reflections on the water, clean air, tranquility, and abundant natural elements.

The photos below were taken from roughly the same spot between December of last year and February 2026, capturing a variety of sunset scenes through the winter and into early spring. All were shot on a smartphone—a Pixel 7 Pro. ( I don't really know why I wasn't using a better camera at times! )
