I enjoy taking photographs that can speak out, images that can trigger one's hidden emotion or convey certain kind of human feelings. Currently I focus on landscapes, still life and abstract subjects which have given me the biggest satisfaction so far.
Both film and digital tools are used for printing. My production process is kind of "hybrid" type. I develop my own film, which is usually Tmax 100, with LC29 or other brand of developer and scan the negatives for software adjustments. For prints, I use Epson 3800 printer with pigment ink. The type of paper I use depends on the photograph's subject matter.
Although the kind of camera used doesn’t really relate to the real artistic value of a print, I think I’ll mention it here:....I work with different formats of camera like Nikon D700, Contax645, Pentax 67, Holga, 4X5 view camera, etc.
I believe photography, especially black & white prints, is an elegant art form. Without color, the image actually provides a deeper dimension for interaction, both aesthetically and artistically speaking.
