Iona Beach Regional Park, Richmond, BC

   If you would like to practice your reflex timing and take some birding shots, I'm sure Iona Park is one of your best bets in Vancouver. There are always American Bald Eagles and Herons hanging around during tides to look for foods, so your chance of getting some fine shots are high.   The jetty is 4 km in length and if you can finish at the end there are usually some more birds waiting for you there as a reward.
